Segmentasi Paru-Paru Dengan Level Set

Image processing techniques have been widely used and developed to assist healthcare practitioners in detecting abnormalities in the x-ray image of the lungs. However, x-ray image that tends to blur will give different conclusions when read by different people. To help to diagnose the x-ray image, a program that is able to read the x-ray clearly and scurately is needed. Image interpretation performed on lung use detection methode using level-set . The level set methods is chosen in spite of the ability to follow the spread of the curve. the curve will evolve and stop at the boundaries of objects in an image. The results of the detection process and then further proceed for the calculation of the left and right lung area to determine normal and abnormal lungs. Results of the experiments performed resulting accuracy rate of 85,7% out of 21 tested data and grouping can be done in to normal lungs of adults automatically. Determination of normal and abnormal lungs through the right and left pulmonary area calculations is one way to detect abnormalities in the lungs.
